Hello everyone!

This is my opening post for my blog. My name is Andrew Codding and I hail from Santa Rosa California. I just turned 21 about two weeks before I moved here to Chico and I'm loving it. Yes I am a transfer student from the Santa Rosa Junior College, which is an awesome JC. Let me tell you all a little about myself. Staying in my hometown for the last two years after I finished high school was a tough personal decision. I decided to turn down several college acceptances to pursue college baseball after graduating. I played two very fun seasons for the community college in Santa Rosa, but I realized that I had my fill in baseball, so I turned down several division II scholarships and decided to come to Chico. Why would anyone do that? Well let me tell you, I visited Chico several times and just loved the town and the college atmosphere that it provides. It really is one of the last real college towns. (I also like drinking heavily). I also love the outdoors, I'm an avid hunter, golfer and republican. Please no death threats. No I dont like George Bush. I love to travel, I've been to Europe, Africa, the Carribbean and several other tropical places. I suggest everyone travel as much as they can for the cultural and personal experiences traveling provides. I can't think of much else to say, so happy blogging and maybe I'll see some of you at Riley's on tuesday nights for the dollar beers.
